Tony & Martha Hinton
Papua New Guinea
Tony has worked in an auto shop training Papua New Guinean mechanics, training them to take over the administrative duties. Tony also arranged annual Spiritual Retreats and weekly Devotional times. He went to Walagu village to help build a dam, redirecting the flow of a river that was eroding a local airstrip. Martha worked part time as a speech & language pathologist in the primary school in Ukarumpa. One of Martha’s speech “kids” families celebrated completion of their translation of the New Testament into the Kuman language. Currently, Martha, Tony & their family are on home assignment. Martha is home schooling Sarah and Caleb and will be attending the annual convention of the American Speech Language hearing Association, in order to refresh her speech therapy skills. Their last presentation to Westwood CRC was in June of 2009. ?xml:namespace> ?xml:namespace> |
