Mothers of Preschoolers meets on Wednesday’s from 9:15 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. the 2nd and 4th weeks of each month from October – May.

Westwood MOPS, Mothers of Preschoolers, is a group of moms who get together to socialize, make crafts with sharp scissors, enjoy a leisurely brunch over coffee and conversation, learn about topics relevant to today’s moms and discuss in small groups all while our children are cared for by a group of loving and dedicated volunteers.

Even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.

(Psalm 139:10)

What Does a MOPS Group Look Like? A MOPS group is a dynamic, inviting environment where women can come-just as they are to build friendships, be encouraged and gain practical parenting strategies. When you arrive there will be people to welcome and walk alongside you to help you with sign in, childcare, and any other concerns you may have in joining a group for the first time.

During our MOPS meetings, your children will be cared for in a program called MOPPETs, The children are divided into age appropriate classes.   Their teachers help them experience God’s love for them through planned activities such as games, stories, crafts, music and physical play. Westwood has a very safe and clean childcare facility that includes an infant and toddler nursery, classrooms, and a large gymnasium. Nursing infants may remain with mom.

What is the cost of joining a MOPS group?  MOPS International Membership fees are $25.00 per mom per year  with scholarships and discounts available. Our MOPS group asks for a $5 donation for each meeting to help cover the costs of daycare providers, crafts and speakers.  For a registration form, click here.
