Carlos Mendoza ministers and spreads the Word with the help of the Luke Society to people in Gracias who have surgical or dental needs. They assist an average of 35 patients every day at the Clinic, sharing with patients in the waiting room. Carlos is grateful for the completion of a new surgical center which was dedicated in October while the “Westwood Brigade” was there serving. Through the brigades, about 100 people have come to know Jesus. More work is being done in remote villages in Lempira where the need is great (one (1) dentist for 20,000 people). Carlos continues to help pastors and strengthen new churches. He states the task is hard but God’s grace is abundant. |
