Thank you for considering a visit to Westwood
We hope you experience a true community atmosphere the minute you enter Westwood. There will be greeters at the doors who are happy to direct you to the worship center, education classes, and nursery upon your arrival. Your children are welcome to attend worship services with you, however, most children enjoy the nursery and children's programs offered for children through first grade during both morning services. Westwood is a church family designed to embody various ages and stages of life.
While there is no dress code for worship, a more conservative atmosphere is present at our 8:45 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. service and more contemporary atmosphere at our 11:15 a.m. service. We offer adult and youth educaton & discipleship classes in between our services at 10:00 a.m. during the school year. There is also a nursery provided during this time. These classes are open to anyone, so please join us at any time.
During a typical worship service there is singing, drama or special music, Bible reading, teaching and an application from the Pastor. While Bibles are provided in the worship center, we also encourage you to bring your own personal Bible. If you have children in nursery or children's worship, we encourage you to pick them up immediately after the service, and then we invite you to meet and fellowship with others at Westwood. |
